  3. This is the standard Macintosh Cut command as implemented in word processors.  It behaves as expected.

  5. Note:  You cannot 'Cut' items from the List window.  If you need to Cut a List window item, select the item in the List and return to the Envelope window.  Using Cut will now achieve your goal.
